Wofford and South Carolina both on ESPN marathon

Tuesday, November 18 will be a big day for college basketball in the state of South Carolina. Wofford and South Carolina will both be playing home games in the ESPN 24-Hour Tip-Off Marathon.

Wofford will host Iona at 7am that morning on ESPN2, while South Carolina will host Baylor at Noon on ESPN. South Carolina was in the marathon last year with a game at Baylor, while Wofford has never been in it. Wofford has participated in three NCAA tournaments in the past five years, earning this national spotlight. I don't think they have had a nationally televised home game before.

College of Charleston was the last SC team to participate in a home game in the marathon, playing an 8am game against Morehead State in 2011.
