Clemson G Devin Coleman tears Achilles

We have just learned that Clemson sophomore G Devin Coleman has torn his Achilles tendon in conditioning drills today. He is out 6-8 months.

He averaged 2 points a game last year, but was supposed to be a major part of the team this year. Coleman averaged ten minutes a game last season, but grew into an important player for the last few games of the season last year. He played 26 minutes in Clemson's ACC tournament loss to Virginia Tech.

Larry Williams of Tiger Illustrated first broke the story.

Here is an article with more from Greg Wallace of the Anderson Independent-Mail. http://www.orangeandwhite.com/news/2012/jul/18/devin-coleman-out-6-8-months-following-achilles-te/
